The temperature difference between the casting temperature and the casting mold (300 degrees) is large, and the cooling is fast. The casting is carried out in a protective atmosphere. There are inevitably defects such as pores on the surface and inside of titanium castings, which have a great impact on the quality of castings.

Therefore, the surface treatment of titanium rod and titanium wire is more important than other titanium products. Due to the unique physical and chemical properties of titanium wire, such as small thermal conductivity, low surface hardness, low elastic modulus, high viscosity, low conductivity, easy oxidation, etc., this brings great difficulties to the surface treatment of titanium, It is difficult for titanium rod manufacturers to achieve ideal results by using conventional surface treatment methods, so special processing methods and operation methods must be adopted.
