Technical requirements for titanium rod production:
1、 Titanium and titanium alloy bars The chemical composition of materials shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 3620.1, and the allowable deviation of chemical composition shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 3620.2 when the Demander re inspects.
2. The diameter or side length of hot worked bar and its allowable deviation shall comply with the provisions in Table I.
3. After hot processing, after turning (grinding) and cold rolling, the allowable diameter deviation of cold drawn bars shall comply with the provisions in Table II.
4. After hot working, the out of roundness of bar after turning (grinding) shall not be more than half of its dimensional tolerance.
5. The unfixed length of bars in processing state is 300-6000mm, and the unfixed length of bars in annealing state is 300-2000mm. The fixed length or multiple length shall be within the range of unfixed length.

For example, the thickness of the oxide film in the atmosphere at room temperature is 1.2~1.6 nm, and it will thicken with time. After 70 days, it will naturally thicken to 5 nm, and after 545 days, it will gradually increase to 8~9 nm. Artificial enhanced oxidation conditions (such as heating, using oxidants or anodic oxidation) can accelerate the growth of surface oxide film and obtain thicker oxide film, thus improving the corrosion resistance of titanium. Therefore, the oxide film formed by anodic oxidation and thermal oxidation will significantly improve the corrosion resistance of titanium.
